Hey everyone, remember just a few weeks ago when the biggest news story was about how sad it was that Betty White had died a few weeks short of her 100th birthday? Wasn’t that a great time? I miss those days, don’t you?

Well, hopefully by next week the biggest news story will be, once again, about the death of yet another super-ancient celebrity and NOTHING WORSE, got that, Mainstream Media?

Anyway, the good news is that as of today, I’ve finished a week and a half of my 4-week radiation treatments, and everything looks good! No side effects to speak of, except an almost irresistible desire to eat lots of chocolate, cheese, and mmm fried chicken mmmm!!

Of course, since today is Ash Wednesday (West), and Monday was Clean Monday (East), all the really GOOD Catholics are either starting to fast, or are already two days into it. And then, of course, there’s me.

If I were a really GOOD Catholic of ANY stripe, I’d be diligently fighting that desire. But alas, during my formative years, I fell under the influence of those rebel nuns, and I’ve never been quite the same.

Anyway, I’m keeping this a little short because as of today all the rest of my appointments will be mid-morning rather than late afternoon rush hour, which is absolutely fab as far as I’m concerned!

So, I’ll just be continuing my five-days-a-week-for-four-weeks regimen for another coupla weeks, by which time, hopefully, Ukraine will have beaten back the forces of evil, and Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelenskyy will have been declared King of the World by popular acclamation!

Meanwhile, let’s just keep hoping for the best possible outcome, and I’ll see you next week!

Keep it up ❤️
