That’s right, y’all — just three more days (including today) and I’m DONE with my four weeks of radiation treatments!
Although that means I’ll have to find some other motivation to get out of bed in the morning, especially since we just started Daylight Savings Time out here.
Still, I’m gonna try to get out into Mother Nature every day, if only at home. Like Dorothy, I have to learn to love my own back yard, even if I’m too lazy to mow the lawn!
Just kidding, our back yard is actually pretty nice! Plus, not too far away, we’ve got this wonderful giant park called the Sepulveda Basin, and I’m looking forward to doing more long walks there, and on that note, let me close (since my appointment is in less than an hour) by sharing some pics I took there yesterday morning:
