This won’t be my typical long, rambling, meme-filled post, for a couple of reasons (one sad, one annoying) which I’ll get to in a moment, but first – let’s do this!

Yeah, I’m happy about that!
I’m not so happy about the fact that I’ve caught my hubby’s cold, and we’re both hacking and wheezing this morning. That’s the annoying reason.
The sad reason is my aunt/godmother passed away last night. I hadn’t seen her for a few years (last time was a trip to Kansas City in 2014). I’m glad I got to see her then, as she was still pretty coherent and still very funny. Here’s a photo I took of her then.
She was a heckuva gal! RIP, Anna Banana, you’ll be missed!
